Mountain Horse Solutions has developed a Drop-in Maritime Autonomy Kit (D-MAK) that can rapidly convert any military or civilian vessel into a fully autonomous vessel. User-defined supplementary kits can add additional capabilities such as ISR, transport, or payloads.

Mountain Horse Solutions has developed a Drop-in Maritime Autonomy Kit (D-MAK) that can rapidly convert any military or civilian vessel into a fully autonomous vessel. User-defined supplementary kits can add additional capabilities such as ISR, transport, or payloads.
The D-MAK allows any existing vessel inventory to be operated autonomously, at the full range of the vessel’s fuel tank, and in a GPS-denied environment.
COTS Components: The D-MAK uses COTS components, ensuring minimum supply chain risk as components are readily available. COTS components allow large-volume orders to be completed quickly from on-the-shelf stock.
ISR Kit: Optional Use Case includes a marinized, stabilized pan and tilt, day and night camera with IR (Thermal), 18x zoom, and associated software.
Strike (Explosive): Optional Use Case accepts an explosive payload with sensor-based detonation (proximity, location impact) or remote detonation. Payloads in excess of 1,000 lbs are achievable.
Strike (Drone): Integration with any drone carrying a strike package. Drone carrier for launching long-range weaponized drones.
