Mountain Horse Solutions, in partnership with Cunning Running Software, delivers CTS-PRAS (Counter Terrorism and Search Analysis) —a purpose-built platform for modern threat environments. With integrated 2D/3D mapping, automated line-of-sight analysis, and mission-focused modeling, teams can:
• Identify vulnerable positions and routes before deployment
• Prioritize defensive options based on real-world threat profiles
• Generate consistent plans and reports that support faster decision making
This is not software replacing judgment—it’s about sharpening it.

Software that protects public events from terrorist threats.

The Counter Terrorism and Search Analysis System Software (CTS-PRAS) is a civilian Homeland Security solution that is a unique, multi-purpose tool used by governments addressing counter-terrorism.

  • Plan protection for venues
  • Protect high-value targets
  • Justify resource allocation
  • Empower counter-terrorism professionals
  • Visualize complex scenarios
  • Manage search operations

The software identifies potential firing points for MANPADS, direct- and indirect-fire weapons, IEDs, and counter-UAS launch sites, enabling users to visualize the threat footprint. Maps, diagrams, and other data are processed and downloaded to front-line personnel attending the incident.

This decision-support tool delivers enhanced situational awareness and informed ‘safe route’ planning. Critically, it updates the threat status as the situation develops.

To defend CNI, CTS-PRAS displays sensor coverage in 2- and 3-dimensional space. It is overlaid on Google Earth™, providing an immediate visual indication of which sensors provide the best performance for security, incident observation, and perimeter surveillance.

As a preventive tool, CTS-PRAS uses terrain elevation and weapon characteristics to calculate potential launch sites. These are examined and mitigated using aerial photography and ground survey. A site database provides a record of all site surveys with notes, photos, videos, maps, sketches, and aerial imagery.
