Mountain Horse Solutions Awarded U.S. Army Rapid Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) CBRNE $500 Million IDIQ Contract
November 16, 2020, Colorado Springs, CO USA – Mountain Horse Solutions, a U.S. Defense and Mission Critical Equipment Supplier, today announced its selection as an awardee on the rapid Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) Indefinite–Delivery Indefinite–Quantity (IDIQ) contract win to the U.S. Army.

Under this contract, Mountain Horse Solutions will support the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND) 5-year, $500 million budget ceiling IDIQ contract with five main COTS CBRNE product service areas: assessment, personal protective equipment (PPE), detection, identification, and sustainment.
The contract provides the U.S. Army with new product deliveries and supports that enhances the capability to assess, detect, identify, monitor, and protect individuals at a CBRNE, Toxic Industrial Chemical (TIC), Weapon of Mass Destruction (WMD) or All-Hazards incident/event such as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Chemical Detection and Identification Sampling, and Monitoring Devices for Chemical Warfare Agents, Biological Warfare Agents, Chemicals and Radiological.
Included in the contract is sustainment for ancillary maintenance or repair and support for equipment, including but not limited to installation, troubleshooting, training, and repairs such as maintenance, warehousing, provisioning, and decommissioning.
