NO COST CONSULTING
Mountain Horse Solutions is not a consulting company. We gladly tell you everything you need to know at no cost to you. The consulting we offer is complimentary. We’ll give you an honest review of your product/service, advice about how it may be sold into the US market, and whether or not Mountain Horse Solutions would be a good fit for your company. If we’re not the right fit, we will gladly point you in the direction of other companies who may be better suited to support you.
SALES
Mountain Horse Solutions views sales as a collaborative activity. You are the best salesperson for your products – but we can leverage our partnership effectively. Collaborating means that we will share leads, market information you have acquired, market knowledge we have, our network, and your network to get to a position where we can generate revenue as fast as possible. We mark up your products and it is this mark-up that generates our revenues. If we don’t make sales, you pay nothing for our services. We can be your Valued Added Reseller or establish a preferred supplier relationship.
PARTNERSHIP
In a partnering situation, Mountain Horse will write the solicitation response with technical support and input from you. We will ensure compliance, pull together pricing, source US components (where applicable or necessary to meet the Buy American Act or other legislation), and be the US prime contractor. We have an extensive proven contract delivery record with the US Government that helps to win these bids, as well as socio-economic status that is also advantageous.
Large and complex projects, often require a detailed solicitation response and more in-depth partnering to achieve a win – often demanding longer, and more complicated processes. The upside is that when successful, it normally results in a multi-year, high-value contract which you will be part of. CONTRACTING
Mountain Horse is a contracting specialist. We are a Prime Contractor on several high-value IDIQ contracts read more, which enables us to solve contracting challenges quickly and effectively. We hold contracts with a combined budget ceiling of $9.7 Billion. If you don’t know what an IDIQ contract is or how important they are, please call our team to discuss.
Contracting with the US Government is the most important aspect of the sales process and the most overlooked. Mountain Horse refers to this as ‘the last 10 yards’. Not having a contract vehicle or understanding how US government contracting works is the main reason that companies are unsuccessful in the US market space.
Additionally, we qualify for four social-economic set-aside categories, which further assists our ability to contract with the US Government and have access to other IDIQs through US partners.
ITAR SUPPORT
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) doesn’t need to be scary, but you do need to comply. Mountain Horse has an in-house legal team that works with our partners to ensure ITAR compliance during all contracts, sales, and transactions. From submitting ITAR licenses to drafting and submitting Technical Assistance Agreements (TAA’s), Mountain Horse will work with you to ensure we are all abiding by the law.
U.S. MANUFACTURING IDENTIFICATION/MANAGEMENT
WAREHOUSING / DELIVERY
Mountain Horse Solutions has a 25,000 sq ft warehouse in Union City, Tennessee, and a 3,500 sq ft project facility in Maryland. We use these facilities for staging equipment prior to coordinated delivery to the end customer. They also provide a base for our customer support team to receive goods back and ship out replacement items.
